Victoria & Albert Museum, London, U.K., Exhibition “Quilts 1700 – 2010” on Through July 18, 2010

The Spectacular exhibit of quilts dating from  1700’s to 2010 is now open at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, U.K., which will be on until July 18, 2010.

There is so much interest in this showing of British quilts that span such a vast time period.   I have heard that record attendance was reported for the first few days of the show.

If you’re planning a trip to U.K. during the exhibit, you’ll want to get to the V & A Museum!

Photos are the Museum’s.

More Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Activities During AQS Show in March

With all the quilt happenings in Lancaster, Pennsylvania,  you might want to visit Paradise Village Antiques on Route 30 East, just about three  miles  from the Spring Quilt Blossom Festival.

Many of the antique dealers there usually have antique quilt and textiles.  The management encourages the in-house dealers to fill their display spaces with items quilters would enjoy during the quilt festivities in the town.
