There are so many quilts! There’s so much to see and do in Paducah during Show week; the city  goes “quilt” for the week.   If you were lucky enough to get lodging (that being the biggest headache with being able to go), you’ll have a great time.

I’ll be there to see the quilts, do quilt appraisals, and see friends and colleagues, as well as enjoy the total “quilt atmosphere” of Paducah and the beauty of the dogwoods and azaleas in bloom…..beautiful.

I  got back from the IQA Quilt Festival in Rosemont, Illinois, last night.  The quilts were fab! So was the shopping, the weather, everything!

The venue for the Show next year will be in Cincinnati, Ohio,  April 8 – 11, 2011, at the Duke Energy Convention Center.  It has been in the Chicago area at the Donald Stephens Convention Center for eight years now.

Newly Restored 1786 Martha Howard Quilt at Canton Historical Society of Canton, Massachusetts

The Canton Historical Society of Canton, Massachusetts, has had the Martha Howard Quilt dated 1786 fully restored.

Martha Howard’s quilt will be on display at the Canton library on Saturday, April 10, 2010, from 10 AM to 4PM.

International Quilt Festival in Chicago, Illinois, April 16 – 18, 2010

The International Quilt Festival’s Show in Rosemont, Illinois (near Chicago) at the Donald Stephens Convention Center is set for April 16 – 18, 2010, with the Preview night on Thursday, the 15th.  This is a  great show! Incredible quilts and shopping.

I have two pieces in Special Exhibits in the show.
