Indigo Gives America the Blues will be on exhibit at The  International Quilt Study Center & Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska, from September 7, 2012 through  June 2, 2013.

Indigo dye dramatically influenced the appearance of European and American textiles throughout the past 400 years. Its use reflects the history of trade with India and other Asian countries beginning in the sixteenth century, as well as advances in technology in Europe and North America.
