IMG_0305If you’re going to Paducah, be sure to go to the National Quilt Museum there. My 1800’s quilt will be a part of the exhibit “Antique Jacob’s Ladder Quilts” showing to June 11, 2013. Quilting today is inspired by quilts of the past such as these in their other exhibit:
“New Quilts from an Old Favorite”
Each year this international contest organized by The National Quilt Museum challenges quiltmakers to create an innovative quilt based on a specific traditional pattern. This year’s selected block is Jacob’s Ladder and how these quilters interpreted it.
