Interwoven Globe: The Worldwide Textile Trade, 1500–1800

The Worldwide Textile Trade, 1500–1800 will be at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City September 16, 2013–January 5, 2014.

The exhibit features textiles from around the world, including  examples created and traded for spices and other exotic goods from the sixteenth century to the eighteenth.
