Celebrating the 2012 gift of 350 American quilts from collectors Pat and Tom Nickols, the Mingei International Museum in San Diego, California, has an exhibit of  log cabin  quilts  from the Collection through July 3, 2014. The Nickols’ amassed the Collection, which includes excellent examples of many types of  American traditional quilts made between the early 1800’s and 1950’s.
