The DAR Museum in Washington DC’s current exhibit is Eye on Elegance: Early Quilts of Maryland and Virginia,”  which is on through September 5, 2015.  These quilts are masterpieces that date from 1790 to 1860.

“Quilt National 2015,” May 23-September 7, 2015, Dairy Barn, Athens, Ohio

Quilt National 2015, a 19th biennial juried exhibition of innovative art quilts, is open to the public from May 23-September 7, 2015. Visitors will see an eclectic collection of never before exhibited works from talented fiber artists representing thirty-three states and eight foreign countries.

Although parts of the collection will travel to museums and galleries throughout the country until late 2017, the Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens, Ohio is the only venue where visitors can view the complete collection.
