Quilts & Color from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is on exhibit at San Diego Museum of Art in San Diego, California, until September 5, 2016. This is a fabulous showing of quilts, which I saw while it was in Boston.

Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry: 40 Years of Color, Light & Motion will be at Mitchell Museum in Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, Mt. Vernon, Illinois, from July 31 – October 9, 2016
Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry – “Celebration #1”
This forty year retrospective exhibition features 47 quilts by Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry made over four decades, including her first quilt from 1976 as well as her most recent pieces.

Sad to learn that Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine will publish its last issue with October/November 2016. The magazine was founded in 1969 and was the only magazine devoted only to quilting for many years.
